Guest Book of Albert Einstein
Between 1929 and 1932, Albert Einstein owned a guest home on a lake in Caputh, near Berlin. LBI has digitized the guestbook from this home, which includes entries from Chaim Weizmann, Ruggiero Ricci, and this illustration by Hermann Struck.

The breadth and depth of Einstein's interests, from art and music to religion and politics, is evident in the numerous letters preserved in the collections of his various correspondents. In this letter to the prominent Zionist journalist Robert Weltsch, Einstein praises a speech by the future president of Israel, Chaim Weizmann, and asks Weltsch to arrange for him to meet with Arab students.

Many of the images of Einstein show him pursuing various leisure activities such as cycling, fishing, or, especially, sailing.
