Financial Contributions

The Leo Baeck Institute is a non-profit, independent organization. It is not affiliated with any university or other learned institution and is not associated with any religious group. It serves scholarship and learning in the spirit of free inquiry and study; its facilities are available to anyone asking to use them.

Because of its independence, the Leo Baeck Institute must look for outside support. Contributions are necessary to preserve its archives, to further develop its library, to subsidize the publication of important books, and to serve a growing public through lectures, programs, exhibitions, and other events. Special contributions are urgently needed to carry on these and other programs.

With your support, the accomplishments of over four decades will be available to a new generation of scholars and others who have been drawn to the Institute and seek access to its many programs.

The LBI is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
