Grune & Stratton

Henry Stratton and Ludwig H. Grünebaum founded Grune & Stratton in New York in 1940. Stratton quickly assumed most responsibilities. His publishing company specialized in medical literature, introducing many émigré scientists and doctors to an American audience.

Stratton, who had studied medicine in Vienna, left Austria after the Anschluss.
