W. Verkauf
Willy Verkauf founded the Verlag Willy Verkauf in Jerusalem in 1942. He had arrived in Palestine in 1933 with his parents and was arrested in 1939/40 along with his wife because the British mandate government suspected them of communist activities. Both were sentenced to twelve months in prison.
