Leo Baeck Institute for the study of the History and Culture of German-Speaking Jewry

The LBI Catalog

The LBI Catalog provides information on more than 10,000 archival records, 1400 memoirs, 6000 photographs, 70,000 books, and 800 periodicals available in the LBI Archives and Library, including collections available at the branch of the Archives of the Leo Baeck Institute at the Jewish Museum Berlin.

 The LBI Catalog is now integrated into the catalog of the Center for Jewish History.  The catalog includes the holdings of the American Jewish Historical SocietyAmerican Sephardi Federation, Leo Baeck Institute, and the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research.  Together with Yeshiva University Museum these five institutions are dedicated to collecting, preserving and making accessible materials concerning all aspects of Jewish culture, art, and history.
