Reference Services

The LBI provides reference services to patrons both in the reading room of the Center for Jewish History and through mail/email. Family research questions are handled by the Family Research Program. Due to the often times complex nature of research inquiries we are only able to accept requests in writing.

The LBI catalog is now available online. Researchers should first consult the online catalog before visiting or contacting the LBI. Finding aids for selected archival collections are available here.
