Stefan Zweig

Stefan Zweig (1881-1945) was a novelist, playwright and journalist who belonged to the literary avant-garde group known as Young Vienna. Zweig is best-known for his historical novels, such as Mary Queen of Scotland and his autobiography, The World of Yesterday that was published posthumously in 1943 after his suicide in Brazil.
