Sophie Rupp joined the Leo Baeck Institute in 2020 as an Administrative Assistant. Before joining the LBI, Sophie received her MA in Hebrew and Judaic Studies with a Concentration in Museum Studies from New York University. While earning her master's, she worked as a Holocaust Educator Intern at the Museum of Jewish Heritage and a Television & Beyond Curatorial Intern at the Jewish Museum. In 2018, she completed her BA in History and Jewish Studies at UNC Chapel Hill. She has previously worked at UNC's Center for Jewish Studies and Southern Oral History Program, as well as in Wake Forest University's History, Education, and Music Departments.
