Biographical Information

Otto Simon was born in 1881 in Mannheim, where he was a lawyer. He immigrated to the USA in 1939.

Herbert Feist was born in Mannheim, Germany. He married Edith Gruenthal in 1934 and immigrated to the U.S. in 1936. He became a patent attorney and in the 1960's opened an art gallery on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. He expressed his life long love of music in his many sketches of musicians and was also an amateur musician. Herbert Feist died in N.Y. in 1981.
