Biographical Information

Bertha Pappenheim was part of the women's movement in Germany. She founded orphanages, institutes for the care of needy german women and the periocical JUEDISCHER FRAUENBUND, 1914. She was the "Anna O" of psychoananlytical fame as the patient of Josef Breuer.
