Biographical Information

Inaugurated in 1270, the Altneuschul or Old New synagogue is the oldest continually active synagogue in Europe. During the Second World War, the synagogue was sparred of major damage, and as such continued to be used after the war.

Karl Würbs was a painter and draftsman from Prague known for his landscapes, cityscapes and drawings of architecture in Prague and surrounding areas.
