Denise Nestler

Denise Nestler started at the Leo Baeck Institute in 2025. She works as a processing archivist in the Berlin dependance. 

Before joining the Berlin team, Denise interned at LBI in New York City. Previously, Denise held an archival student's position at Centrum Judaicum, Neue Synagoge in Berlin, did internships at the Federal Archives of Germany, and as a research assistant at the Hannah Arendt Institute in Dresden. She is working towards an MA at TU Berlin focussing on contemporary Jewish history, after completing an undergraduate degree in Sociology and History at Goethe University in Frankfurt.
