The Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, in cooperation with the Leo Baeck Institute New York, invites you to an evening with Dr. Rafael Seligmann on “Jewish Press in Contemporary Germany”. The lecture, moderated by the Director of the Leo Baeck Institute, Dr. William Weitzer, will be followed by a Q & A.

Dr. Seligmann was born in 1947 in Tel Aviv. He moved to Germany with his family at the age of 10. Mr. Seligmann is the publisher of the “Jewish Voice from Germany” the quarterly English-language newspaper, established in 2012, that covers topics from politics and economics to culture and religion. The publication has received widespread acclaim in Germany and abroad. He is also the author of numerous novels that deal with the Jewish experience in post-war Germany, as well as non-fiction books about German history and Israeli security policy. Since 1978, he has contributed to leading German magazines and newspapers including Der Spiegel, Bild and Die Welt.
