Click here to watch the lecture online on April 24th at 1:00 PM EDT.
Shulamit Volkov, Professor Emerita of History at Tel Aviv University and the author of numerous books on German and German-Jewish history, will deliver the 63rd Leo Baeck Memorial Lecture based on her new book, Deutschland aus jüdischer Sicht. Eine andere Geschichte vom 18. Jahrhundert bis zur Gegenwart (Germany from a Jewish Perspective: A different history from the 18th century until the present). Volkov will deliver her remarks live in Berlin, and the lecture will be streamed in person at the Center for Jewish History. This lecture will be delivered in English.
Given the low number of registrations, the in person viewing event at the Center for Jewish History previously mentioned on our website has been cancelled. All registrants will instead receive a link to view a live stream of the lecture. The live event in Berlin will proceed as planned. We are sorry to miss those of you who registered in person, but we look forward to welcoming you to more live events at the CJH soon.
