Imago Publishing Co.

John Rodker founded the Imago Publishing Co. in London in 1938 on the initiative of Sigmund Freud. The International Psychoanalytic Press was forced closed by Nazi officials. Rodker, along with Barbara Low, Martin Freud and Anna Freud, continued to publish psychoanalytic works in exile. Rodker published the complete works of Sigmund Freud shortly before World War II.
