    Verso: Star of David surrounded with Hebrew text; text in the middle reads: "DU öffnest Deine Hand und sättigst alles Lebende in Wohlgefallen" ("You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing". Three points of the star read "Ps. / 145 / 16" (Psalm 145:16).

Biographical/Historical Information

“Aufbringungswerk” was the office’s name at the Jewish congregation in Berlin, devoted to raising funds under the Nazi regime. Established in 1934, it was directed by Rabbi Martin Salomonski until his deportation to Theresienstadt in 1942.
