    Two silver cups attached at the lips, creating a barrel shape. Each cup is engraved with a band of reeding and a line in Hebrew, “Kos shel bracha [cup of blessing]”and “Kos shel metzitzah [cup of suction from the circumcision wound]”.

Biographical/Historical Information

The double barrel was a popular design for circumcision and marriage cups in Germany since the early 1700s.

Cup is featured in the LBI News (pages 10 and 11) from fall 1965.
