Margarete Kron was born in Berlin in 1864. Her works are mainly still life or potraits, especially children. Kron studied at the school of the Artist Union of Berlin, in Paris, and with various artists, such as G. Greaf. Her daughter, Charlotte Kron-Meisel, was also an artist.
