Summary
Autograph book of Kate Wolff. It contains sixteen entries by various individuals from the Berlin artistic scene of the 1910s. Many individuals also created pictures on their pages. Some entries are dated. The book itself consists of two signatures of off-white rag paper, tied together with orange cord.
page 1: signed by Fr. Winkelmann, dated April 30, 1905 in Berlin. The drawing on this page is of a man climbing a tower to get to a white structure at the top, with a painted bright blue sky visible behind the tower
page 2: signed by Rolf Steinhausen, dated May 12, 1905. The painting on this page is almost a portrait of a man wearing a white hat, glasses, red vest, black jacket, and bowtie, smoking a cigarette. The hat partly covers his face. There is gold leaf decorating the background.
page 3: signed by ___ D__, dated May 1905 in Berlin. A painting is adhered to this page and shows a scene of a bridge with horse and carriages crossing the bridge. Trees frame the scene.

A drawing ond watercolor has been adhered to the page; it shows a scene of a man in a frock coat stealing away with an autograph book, while a man and a woman (also in period costume) chase after him. Two female figures swoon in the background. Pages spill out from the autograph book.

page 8: signed by Jon (?) Ho__, dated March 18, 1905. Page features a lengthy note. At the top of the page is a drawing of the head of a jester, wearing a red hat with two bells at the end.
page 9, entry 1: signed by an illegible name, no date, with a note. A drawing in ink and paint is next to the inscription, showing a man playing a yellow guitar or mandolin. The man wears a top hat and brown coat. The name Theo is written with a heart around it.
page 9, entry 2: signed by K___ Puths (?), dated March 20, 1905 in Berlin, with a note. A drawing in water is next tothe note, showing a woman wearing a dress with an elaborate decoration in her dark hair. The image has been distorted intentionally to make the woman's body very long.
page 10: signed by N__ Bu__, dated March 1905 in Berlin. Features a drawing in charcoal and ink of two nurses sitting on a bench in a park, with a baby crying in a carriage. The nurses wears head covers and aprons. Other people are pictured sitting on benches in the background.
page 11: unsigned and undated drawing with ink and paint of a hunter on a white horse, spearing two men with the words Pfaffe and Philister on their clothes.

page 13: signed by Hermann Schaefer, no date, with a note. Features a portrait (possibly self portrait) drawing in colored charcoal or crayon; the man has a mustache and pushed back hair and he has a pen in his hand as if he is writing the note on the page

page 15: initiated by A.U.H. and signed in pencil Hoffmann, no date. Features a watercolor of a man in a brown suit with glasses and a beard drawing on a board. In the background is a cartoon drawing of three children with their fingers at their lips.
page 16: signed by (illegible), dated March 27, 1905. Features a watercolor of a woman holding the strings of a marionette or puppet. The puppet holds a flute or fife and wears a blue costume with a white collar.
