Biographical/Historical Information
Rabbi Moses (Löb) Mainz was born in Frankfurt/M. into a merchants’ family and became known as a Talmud scholar and a co-founder of Frankfurt’s orthodox 'Israelitische Religionsgesellschaft'. Rabbi Moses Mainz died in Frankfurt in 1886.
