Biographical/Historical Information
The German Rabbi Theodor Kroner was born in Dyrenfurth, Upper Silesia in 1845. He served as rabbi in Lengsfeld, Saxe-Weimar, Erfurt, Hanover and in Stuttgart, where he was a member of the Wurttemberg rabbinate ("Kirchenrath"). Kroner also taught at several Jewish teachers' seminaries in Germany. Theodor Kroner died in Stuttgart in 1923.
