Biographical/Historical Information
Otto Hirsch was born in Stuttgart in 1885, the son of Louis Hirsch (ME 310). He was a co-founder and board member of the Neckar AG, which was responsible for the canalization of the Neckar river. After his forced dismissal in 1933, he dedicated himself to Jewish politics and became the chairman of the newly founded "Reichsvertretung der deutschen Juden". Otto Hirsch died in the Mauthausen concentration camp in 1941.
