Biographical/Historical Information

The author and literary critic Felix Salten was born in Vienna in 1869. He was a member of the literary circle “Young Vienna”, and his novels and other writings were widely published. His most famous work was “Bambi”. After Austria’s Anschluss in 1938, Felix Salten moved to Zurich, where he died in 1945.
