Biographical/Historical Information
The philosopher Max Ferdinand Scheler was born into a Jewish orthodox family in Munich in 1874. He is known as one of the most prominent philosophers of phenomenology in the early part of the 20th century. Max Scheler died in Frankfurt/M. in 1928.
