Biographical/Historical Information
The Austrian actor Adolf Sonnenthal was born to Jewish parents in Budapest in 1834. He spent most of his career at the Burgtheater in Vienna as an actor and also as manager-in-chief, and he was awarded with an Austrian patent of nobility. Adolf von Sonnenthal died in Prague in 1909.
