Biographical/Historical Information

The mathematician and poet Melanie (Melania) Serbu was born on March 31, 1909, in Tulgheş, Romania. She lived in Braşov (Kronstadt), where she worked as a mathematician at the university from 1949 to 1954. She emigrated to Israel in 1958.
