Biographical/Historical Information
The photographer Trude Geiringer née Neumann was born 1890. After graduating from Schwarzwaldschule in Vienna, she studied photography and established herself as a portraitist for actors and authors. She escaped the Nazi regime in 1938 and resumed her career in studios in New York.
