Biographical/Historical Information

The Jewish congregation in Bad Nauheim commissioned a new synagogue in the 1920s. Architect Richard Kaufmann designed it in the style of “New Objectivity”. It was inaugurated in 1929, one of the very last synagogues in Germany to be built before the Nazis.
