Biographical/Historical Information
Leopold Godowsky was an accomplished, Polish-American pianist and composer.
Carl Von Hoffman was a Russian photographer, author and adventurer. He served in the Russian army and then settled in New York City, both against his family's wishes. He then studied photography under Brown Brother before getting hired by the New York Globe. His assignments abroad served as inspiration for his books. He also became an active member of the Explorer's Club.
