    Two medals in the shape of a cross bottony, belonging to the Vierfelder family. The centers are inscribed with "WC", the initials of the the King and Queen of Württemberg, on the front and "1916" on the back. The smaller medal is attached to a black lapel pin with a yellow and black ribbon.

Biographical/Historical Information

The Charlottenkreuz was a named after the Queen of Württemberg, Charlotte of Schaumburg-Lippe. It was commissioned in January of 1916 by King William II. It was awarded to individuals during the First World War for merit in the field, or at home to those who provided war-related care.
