Stefan Anton George (1868 –1933) was a German poet and translator of Dante Alighieri, William Shakespeare, and Charles Baudelaire.

Reinhold Lepsius (1857-1922) was a member of the Berlin Secession and married to the artist Sabine Lepsius. Both were friends of the poet Stefan George
