Biographical Information

The Austrian author and politician Joseph Freiherr von Sonnenfels was born 1732/1733 in Nikolsburg (Mikulov, Moravia). As an enlightened professor for political science, he was among the leaders of the Illuminati movement in Austria, and a close friend and patron of Mozart. Sonnenfels died on April 25, 1817 in Vienna.

T. S. (Timothy Stansfield) Engleheart (1803–1879), was an English engraver, working in Germany.
