Biographical/Historical Information
Alexander Oppler (1869-1937) was a German sculptor. He was the son of architect Edwin Oppler and brother of painter Ernst Oppler. Born in Hannover, he studied in Munich, Brussels, and Paris. He was a member of both, the Munich and Berlin Secessions. Alexander Oppler died in Berlin in 1937.
