Biographical/Historical Information

The artist and learned wood-engraver Adam Rosenzweig (1826-1908) was brother of Franz Rosenzweig’s grandfather Louis Rosenzweig. In his youth in Kassel, Franz Rosenzweig learned much about Judaism from his granduncle Adam.
