Biographical/Historical Information
Hermann Bach (1851-1930) was born in Fischach to Israel Bach and Sara (née Deller), the second of nine children. Hermann married Mathilde (née Benario), and they had several children. Hermann owned a textile company in Munich with his brother, Isidor.
Leo Samberger (1861-1949) was a German painter and portraitist. He grew up in Bamberg and had studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, where he then set up his studio. Samberger was one of the founding members of the Munich Secession in the 1890s.
