Biographical/Historical Information

Born in Pressburg, Austria-Hungary (now Bratislava, Czechoslovakia) on January 30, 1871, Aron (also known as Arnold) Tänzer received his doctorate at the University of Berlin. He was an army chaplain during World War I and established kitchens in Poland for the Jewish population.
