    Circular clay relief of Adolf Heilberg in profile. Subject is bearded and wearing a suit. Clay is red-brown and very soft. "Heilberg" is carved below the figure. The relief is cracked in several pieces along the bottom section. According to the donor this is one of two reliefs, the other being with the Swedish branch of the Heilberg family.

Biographical/Historical Information

Adolf Heilberg was born in Breslau in 1858. He was a lawyer and the president of the Silesian lawyers association from 1925 until his dismissal in 1933. As a member of the DDDP he was "Vorsitzender der Stadtverordnetenkammer" in Breslau. Heilberg was also a board member of the "Deutsche Friedensgesellschaft" and the author of "Bestimmungen des Friedensvertrags." He died in Breslau in 1936.
