    Cross-shaped medal with a wreath at center surrounding the text "1914 1918." The letters "CEJ" are engraved on the reverse. Attached to multiple red, white and black striped ribbons with a safety pin. Also attached to a buttonhole pin for the same award, with a miniature version of the cross at its center.

The “Hindenburg Cross” (Ehrenkreuz des Weltkrieges 1914/1918) was a German honor cross established by Paul von Hindenburg in 1934, to honor front-line and non-combatant veterans of the World War.
