Biographical/Historical Information

Adolphe J. Warner (1917, Frankfurt am Main – 2002, New York) was a financial executive. He was born Adophe Werner but anglicized his family name to Warner when he came to New York from Germany in 1936. He served in the United States Army from 1943 to 1946. After four years of working for the United States military government in Germany in the finance division, he returned to New York in 1950 and began a long career as a financial advisor and executive.

Caroline Luise Mathilde Elisabeth Battenberg (1878-1936) was a popular Frankfurt portrait painter.
