Biographical/Historical Information

A poster for the Reichstag election that, like III/13, begins with a quote from the opponent. It alludes to Ludendorff's candidacy for the presidency in 1925 (Ludendorff received 1.1% of the vote in the first round and then withdrew from active politics). There is also a reference to Fememörder: members of männerbündler organizations to whom numerous republican politicians fall victim. From 1918 to 1922, 354 political murders are committed by right-wingers, 22 by left-wingers. The Republic Protection Act enacted under Ebert has little success because it is largely sabotaged by the executive branch.
