Biographical/Historical Information

The Bund jüdischer Frontkämpfer, a German Jewish veteran group, tries to keep the campaign for the 1924 Reichstag election free of anti-Semitic slander. Points made on the poster include: at the outbreak of war in 1914, more than 10,000 German Jews volunteered for the army; during the war, more than 2,000 were appointed officers, and nearly 30,000 were decorated.
