Biographical/Historical Information

The poster boasts of the economic stability brought by the republican German Reich in the mid to late 1920s and endorsed by the Bayerische Volkspartei. Two examples: In 1928, 1.2 billion Reichsmarks is spent on housing construction. And by 1928, the hourly wage for male skilled workers tops 96 Reichspfennigs, which then dropped to 78 Rpf by 1933.
