Biographical/Historical Information

Poster of the Social Democratic Party in anticipation of federal elections on January 12, 1912: conservative parties are accused of exploiting the people by planning to channel money to the German Army and Navy, alleging war perils from England and France. The election was won by the Social Democratic Party, receiving the most seats in the Reichstag.
