Biographical/Historical Information
This poster from the Nazi or Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP) showcases the rising anti-semitism of the party after the NSDAP rise in power in the 1933 elections. The world press reported on "spontaneous measures" (by SA and SS paramilitary groups in civilian clothes) against stores of Jewish owners, riots against Jewish academics (e.g. expulsion of Jewish judges and lawyers in Breslau). The poster includes an alleged quote by Theodor Hezl, most likely fake, and Paul van Hindenburg's name appears at the bottomr, as a false endorsement to the poster.
