2019.60b: bronze Königgrätz Commemorative Cross from 1866, for the military personnel who participated directly in the Battle of Königgrätz. One sides features a crowned Prussian eagle leaning against a captured Austrian cannon, surrounded by a laurel wreath. The arms of the cross bear the inscription “König-Grätz Den 3. Juli 1866”. On the other side is a crowned cypher of Wilhelm I (“WR”, standing for “Wilhelm Rex”) circumscribed “Preussens siegreichem Heere”, with a Prussian crown above and the phrase “Gott war mit uns Ihm sei die Ehre” on the arms of the cross. This medal is pinned to a bar and has a red, black, and white ribbon wrapped around the bar.
2019.60c: bronze Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial medal (also known as the Centenary Medal or Kaiser-Wilhelm-Erinnerungsmedaille Centenarmedaille), to celebrate the 100th birthday of Wilhelm I in 1897. On one side is a depiction of Wilhelm I in military uniform wearing a mantle and Pickelhaube, with the inscription "Wilhelm der Grosse Deutscher Kaiser, Koenig von Preussen". The reverse of the medal shows symbols of royal authority including the German State Crown, an orb, sword, and scepter placed upon a pillow surrounded by oak leaves and a laurel branch. The inscription reads "Zum Andenken an den Hundertsten Geburtstag des Grossen Kaisers Wilhelm I. 1797-22 Maerz 1897". This medal is pinned to a bar and has a black and white ribbon wrapped around the bar.
2019.60d: bronze Silver War Commemorative Medal of 1870/71, also known as Kriegsdenkmünze für die Feldzüge. The medal was presented to those who took part in the Franco-Prussian war through 1871. 2019.60e: Iron Cross in black with silver outlines. The Iron Cross was established in 1813 by King Friedrich Wilhelm III of Prussia during the Napoleonic Wars, and was re-issued in 1870, 1914, and 1939 for service during the Franco-Prussian War, First World War, and Second World War respectively. One side of the cross has a crown, "W" in the center, and "1914". The other side decipts a crown above "FW", three oak leaves, and "1813". It is attached to a ribbon with black and white stripes.
