Summary
A chalice-style Kiddush cup that features a floral design in repousse with Hebrew lettering around the rim. The chalice is a six-sided cup and the base is rounded. Though the inscription says the date 1761, the style of the cup indicates that it was likely manufactured later. The cup is molded with visible soldering line, has no screwed-on foot, and is 13 “lötig” silver. The manufacturer is likely J.D. Schleissner, Hanau.
