Summary

The photos are closed inside of an ornate frame, which is an easel-like structure and is made of blonde wood. The frame's legs are painted with a vine design, and the top of the frame has the date 1879. The frame's cover is decorated with cherubs, ribbons, and flowers. The woman's portrait is on the left, and she wears a white dress with a ribbon in her hair. The man's portrait is on the right , and he has on a suit and cravat, and he has a mustache. A handwritten note is visible when the frame is open; the note says "Lass wie in diesem Bilder-Schrein uns auch in deinem Herzen sein!" When the photos are removed from the frame, the written names of the man and woman are visible.
