Biographical/Historical Information

Moses Farrnbacher (1804-1889) was the son of Jacob and Kehla Karoline Farrnbacher. Seligman had founded M.S. Farrnbacher, a producer of iron and metal products in Fürth, Germany. The firm produced iron and metal products. Moses took over the operation of M.S. Farrnbacher from his father, and the firm remained in the family for generations. Moses marrited Jetta Lewin, and they had six children.
