Biographical/Historical Information

Martin Mayer firm from Mainz was founded in 1838. He handed over the company to his son Bernhard Albert Mayer (1866 - 1947). His youngest son, Martin Mayer (born in 1914) left Germany in 1938 when the company was confiscated due to the Jewish background of the family.
