Biographical/Historical Information
Georg Marcus was born in 1902, the son of Paul and Hedwig Marcus. He married Gerda and had a daughter, Helga, in 1933. The family lived in Leipzig until 1938, when they emigrated to New York. The lived in Kew Gardens, Queens, where Georg worked as a real estate agent until his death in 1965.
Piquet is a French card game played with a 32-card pack. The pack comprises the 7s through to 10s, the face cards, and the aces in each suit. This deck is missing 2 cards.
